December 4, 2025 | Lisa Meckley
As we continue our mission to reach more students who have stepped away from high school but are ready to get back on track to earn their diploma, we are pleased to announce a new Acceleration Academies location in Jacksonville, Florida.
When it opens in January 2026, Duval County Acceleration Academies (DCAA) will provide an alternative high school option for teens and young adults ages 17-21 who left high school and did not graduate with their class. Veteran educator Terry Harper will lead the team as director of DCAA.
