If you’re considering enrolling in high school at Acceleration Academies, congratulations! You’re taking a huge step toward a bright academic and professional future.
However, sometimes it can be confusing to know how to enroll in high school. Luckily, we’ve got all the tips you need for enrolling at Acceleration Academies, so read on to learn how to take control of your education.
At Acceleration Academies, we offer open enrollment. This means that you can apply to enroll in our program anytime throughout the year and start classes anytime, not just at the beginning of the academic year or the beginning of a new semester.
This model gives you the best chance for success in your pursuit of earning your high school diploma and the most flexibility in your education. Our open enrollment policy puts your schedule first, so we can get you back on track to graduate high school as soon as you’re ready.
But how do you enroll at Acceleration Academies?
Here are all the steps you need to start your academic journey at Acceleration Academies:
To enroll at most Acceleration Academies locations, students must be under the age of 21 and eligible for grades 9-12, though some districts allow applicants in grade 8. Enrollment criteria vary based on location, so be sure to check with your local Acceleration Academies to determine eligibility.
Your next step in enrollment is to make an account on the Acceleration Academies enrollment portal.
From there, you’ll follow the instructions to select an academy closest to you. Then, fill out and submit any necessary documents so we can determine your eligibility for the program. Feel free to call us if you have any questions or need any help, we’d love to assist you in any way we can.
You can also schedule a virtual meeting with an enrollment coach who is available to walk you through the application process.
Now, we’ll check the forms you submitted and let you know if we need anything else. If we don’t, we’ll review your application. If approved, we’ll contact you to schedule your orientation at your Academy. If we need more information from you, we’ll reach out to the phone number and email address you provided.
Please note that the enrollment process can take up to 2 weeks, as we often work with our local school district partners to complete the transition process.
After you’re approved, you’ll be scheduled for an in-person orientation at your academy. There, you’ll learn how to get started in your online courses and what attendance requirements are required by your academy. You’ll also get to meet your fellow Graduation Candidates and become part of that Academy’s family of coaches and mentors excited to see you succeed.
